Deep Regret

Do you ever feel deep regret about your past marriage?

Regret about what you did or didn’t do?

Regret about not being able to make it work?

Regret about a million and one things and the fear that it’s impacted your kids?

I totally get it.

Last week I had some of that deep regret come to the surface again. I’ve been worried about my kids for so many reasons. And I fear that their problems are all my fault.

If only I would have. If only I could have. If only I could go back in time 10 years, 15 years or 20 years and do that one thing different. It felt so heavy.

I know you feel this way too sometimes.

I’m still working to reconcile some of my regret and I’m allowing myself plenty of space to do it.

In the meantime, I’m reminding myself of a few things.

In every moment along the way, most of us do the best we can with where we are.

Sometimes our best, doesn’t look that great – and that’s okay.

My kid’s ability to achieve success and happiness in life is dependent on them – not me.

Our human weaknesses are supposed to be there, they are not a mistake.

I hope you can see the best in yourself in the past, and the best in yourself today.

I hope you can see the best in your future too.

Have a beautiful weekend- you deserve it!

that’s inspiring

Yesterday was amazing.

The women in The Coaching Collective were connecting with each other about their dream come true life and business.

They shared their personal values with each other. They shared the things they really want in their life and what matters most to them.

They talked about how they would make those things a reality.

How awesome is that? Connecting with others about making your dreams come to fruition?!

So inspiring.

How often do you think about what you want in life?
How often do you actually believe it will happen?
What steps do you take toward realizing it?

Thinking about it and believing it are the first (and most important steps).

Are you a coach who wants to join The Coaching Collective?
The waitlist is ready for you.

For today – think about what you want in your life.

Ask yourself, what if that’s really possible?

It’s fun to dream. I highly recommend it.

Have an amazing day – one thought at a time!

Afraid to commit

Friday Love – because you deserve it.
I have something for you today!

(and I can’t wait to tell you about it)

Dating after divorce can be fun.

And pretty scary too.

I remember when I first started dating I was afraid I might make a mistake again.

It was scary to open up to loving someone, and potentially face rejection or disappointment.

And being engaged…

has been a rollercoaster of emotions.

Yes, I help my clients manage their emotions and their lives – and still – I’m not exempt from feeling afraid.

That’s why I’m so excited about what I’ve got for you today.

My colleague Heather is an expert when it comes to fear around relationships and commitment after a divorce. She created a video that you should really check out.

The part I love most is when she explains why our brains go on high alert after experiencing divorce.

I really love her message and I know you will too.

She offers free mini sessions too and if I were you… I would be the first to schedule with her.

She’s amazing.

I can’t say enough good things about the work she does to help women like us let go of the fears and finally create a fresh start.

Have an amazing weekend – you deserve it!

coming back to life

I’m coming back to life.

No, actually – I came back to life all in one day – just like that.

Last week, after months of struggling, I finally had that magical moment of clarity with my coach about what I need to do.

Within hours I felt myself waking up, feeling like myself again, and flowing with passion about my purpose in life.

Do you know that feeling?

Here’s what happened…

In 2017 I created an offshoot of my business based on what I thought I was “supposed” to do.

The experts in my field told me I should. I was turning away from my passion.

I tried to talk myself into it saying it was a worthy cause combined with a brilliant business plan.

The experts know what they are talking about, right?!

What do I know?

Turns out, I know a lot. I know what is genuine for me. I know what feels like the right move for me in my life and my business. I know what my true genius and passion is. And when I stay true to that – everything works.

Are you doing what you’re “supposed” to be doing, but feeling bogged down, burned out and frustrated? Really think about it.

What’s it like to think about doing what you want instead?

Doing what feels right to you?

Doing what feels like your authentic self?

Ask yourself that, and feel the energy. Really, just feel it.

Isn’t that the kind of energy you want guiding you in life?

I do. 100%

I wondered why I wasn’t myself for so long. I was pushing through and gearing up, but the light inside was always flickering. It’s easy to fool myself because I still stay positive and smile and muster up the energy I need. But inside… it just wasn’t working.

In that moment last week – the light came back.

What can you do to get your light back? What do you really want to do to stay true to you, your desires and your genius? And what will it be like to live life from that energy?

Think about it. You deserve it.

It’s time for *Think it Thursday* and 1 year ago.

Exactly 1 year ago today I launched my book!

And because of support from followers like you – it became a bestseller within 24 hours.

As I’ve heard from so many of you over the last year about how the book has changed your life, I’ve felt even more gratitude for the opportunity to write it.
And it’s also become clear to me that the book, didn’t change any lives at all.

The women who bought it and opened up a desire to learn from it – changed their own lives.

The book is there, but not everyone’s lives are changed.
Changing our lives requires us to be ready.
It requires openness.
It requires us to decide that we deserve better in our lives.

Do you deserve better?  Do you deserve to live a fulfilling and happy life?
Do you deserve to feel good about who you are?

I say yes, you absolutely do.
I hope you agree.

It’s been an honor to share my book with you.
Thank you.

I love all of you so much.

Have an amazing day, one thought at a time!

(Oh, and click here if you want your own copy and the workbook too)
Xoxo
